Androscoggin Riverwalk
Located along the Androscoggin River at the border of Topsham and Brunswick, this scenic walk provides stellar views of the Bowdoin Mill and the Androscoggin River. Parts of the trail are paved sidewalks, while other parts are dirt paths. Along the Topsham bank, one will find a quieter path in the woods, but the highlight of the trail is the two bridges. A swinging pedestrian suspension bridge spans the river upstream, offering a dramatic view of the river. The black road bridge downriver meanwhile provides views of the rushing river as it flows across the dam. Please exercise caution on the trails, as parts of the route are still under construction. Parking is available at both ends of the pedestrian swinging footbridge.
