Project Meetings and Milestones

This was a joint session of the Planning Board and Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee; consultants Kirk Bishop and Leslie Oberholtzer presented their draft "Project Directions Memo" for consideration of the two committees.  The consultants discussed their thoughts and received comments and questions.

The Project Directions Memo provides the consultants' perspective on the community's vision, as articulated in the Comprehensive Plan, proposed structure of a new code, and introduces the 'first brush' of building types and character districts for consideration by the Topsham community.  

The Planning Board had a short discussion as a follow-up to the September 9, 2021 Joint Workshop with CPIC.  General feedback was provided by the Board, to assist staff and the consultants with advancing the project.
