About Us
The primary function of this office is to maintain proper internal controls on all Town transactions. This is accomplished by balancing general ledger account’s, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting; including 941’s, 941 ME, UC-1, W2’s, 1099’s, and Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting; as well as year-end preparation for the annual independent financial audit and overseeing the balancing of the town’s monthly bank statements.
In addition, this office processes all municipal payrolls, accounts payables, account receivable, records all real estate and personal property supplemental and abatements, assists the Town Manager with the budget preparation and collects all vendor W9’s, Certificates of Insurance and/or Predetermination of Independent Contractor Certificates as required by our insurance carrier per 39-A M.R.S.A. §102 (13-A).
