Pleasant Point Road Erosion Mitigation Project
November 29, 2023
Thank you to everyone who joined us on November 29th for a community engagement meeting to obtain public input regarding Pleasant Point Road. If you were unable to attend the meeting but would like to view the meeting recording it is available on the Town's Youtube channel at this link. A .pdf of the slides used at the meeting is available here.
As explained at the meeting, the Town of Topsham in conjunction with the Midcoast Council of Governments is soliciting input into:
- Problems observed with the road related to storms;
- Any records (unrecorded survey, etc.) which may better identify the rights in the land abutting the road;
- Information on the usage of the road; and
- Willingness of owners abutting the road to provide an easement for work to be done to address the road’s problems.
If you own property abutting the road are willing to complete a short survey please click on this link to access the online version of the survey. A .pdf copy can be downloaded here, printed out and returned to the Town Manager's office at 100 Main Street.
We intend to use this page to post updates on the project.
