Passport Information

To make the process as quick and easy as possible, here a few pointers:
  • You will need to bring your long form Birth Certificate, with  parents information and an embossed Town/State Seal. 
  • You will need one other form of ID, such as a driver's license.
  • One official passport photo ( We DO NOT take passport photo)
  • Please bring two checks. One for the U.S. Department of State and one for the Town of Topsham.
  • Plan for at least 4 - 6 weeks to receive your passport. Faster service is available for an additional cost.
  • For those under 16, both parents must be present. Call ahead if this is not possible.

 

 

The Birth Certificate will be sent along with your application, and will be returned to you by the Federal Government after they process your application.


The following fees will be charged:

  • New Adult Passport           $110
  • New Minor Passport          $  80
  • Adult Passport Card           $ 30
  • Minor Passport Card          $ 15
  • Municipal Fee                    $  35

 

Upon completion of the application process, we mail your application package to a Passport Processing Center. To track your application, you can log onto www.travel.state.gov.
