Tarbox Preserve

Despite being used predominantly for hiking, the preserve is also used for skiing during the winter. Tarbox is a 121-acre property situated between the Cathance and Muddy Rivers. Owned by the Land Trust, it can be accessed from Middlesex Road in Topsham. The property features upland forests, fields, active vernal pools, wetlands, and more than 4,000 feet of river frontage.

 

 

  • Must Stay on Trails

  • Pets must be leashed

  • No bikes or motorized vehicles

  • No camping or fires
