Androscoggin Woods

 

With opportunities for hiking, canoeing, and kayaking, the Androscoggin Woods is an excellent adventure destination during the summer months. With over a mile of trails winding both inland and along the riverfront, this preserve offers excellent spaces for hiking, fishing, and nature observation. Boating is also welcome.


 

  • Open dawn to dusk 

  • On-leash Dogs Permitted (dog waste removal required) 

  • No off-road vehicles, bicycles, snowmobiles, or horses 

  • No fires or camping 

  • Stay on marked trails 

  • Deer hunting is not allowed, and waterfowl blinds are only by permission
