Plans

A principal function of the Planning & Development Department is to organize, direct and coordinate the gathering and analysis of social, economic and engineering data necessary or useful in the conduct of planning and developmental activities within the community.  This work is often through the development of long-range plans, based on consultation with the public.

The principal guiding policy document of the Town is the Comprehensive Plan.  The Comprehensive Plan is updated every 10-12 years, in accordance with state law.  

Additionally, specific, thematic, or corridor-based plans have also been developed to address specific community threats or opportunities.

All current plans are available for review on the ecode360 site.  They are organized by type and date of adoption.
